LOST IN TRANSLATION

So the other day, I’m hanging out in Rev. Melody Mammelli’s office and she shows the marketing consultant a Dollar bill that’s all taped up.  Apparently, Lucky had her money clip and chewed up all the cash in it.

Before I can get out of Rev. Melody’s office, the marketing consultant is down the hallway telling Rev PAM how Lucky likes to eat money.  So, Rev PAM decides to nick-name Lucky, “Canine for Prosperity,” and the two of them start kibitzing a marketing campaign around me and Lucky as the: “Canines for Peace and Prosperity”.

This entire incident just goes to show you how humans get information completely tossed around.  No wonder they have such a hard time being peaceful.  It’s amazing they can communicate at all!  Why is that it doesn’t matter what breed a dog is and yet everyone understands one another?

How did Lucky’s guardian, Rev. Melody, miss the obvious?  Yes, Lucky chewed up all of her cash.  But it wasn’t because Lucky likes eating money.  All Lucky was doing was giving Rev. Melody dog code for:  “Buy me some Greenies.”  (Talk about mixed greens!)
