World Food Day USA, October 16th

Today is World Food Day USA, October 16th http://www.worldfooddayusa.org/ which is why Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles, www.somspiritualcenterla.org chose today to tithe to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, http://www.lafoodbank.org/   Last year LARFB distributed 62 million pounds of food for the hungry in Los Angeles County.

Besides human hunger issues, there are animal hunger issues, too.

Self-Discovery = Responsibility

Meet my guardian, Rev PAM every week at the Science of Mind Spiritual Center Los Angeles' 11 a.m. Sunday Service.  This is what she'll be talking about this week:

"At some point of emotional maturity, we discover that until we become responsible, we can’t experience much success because the temptation is to find ‘cause’ outside of self.

Responsibility accepted, becomes a privilege.
Responsibility not accepted, becomes a burden.

When “I Am” ‘cause,’ people, places or things do not dominate me.
Look to the Infinite for wisdom, courage, and strength so that you stay lifted up; it is then you can help to raise all humankind.

We are all here on earth to serve.
Every opportunity offers some form of service.
Perhaps, the greatest way we can serve is to think right, to send forth love, and to be at peace."

A Greenie Planet

Some of you may wonder where I get my inspirations for my Tweets.  Well, it's everywhere and anywhere.

Like today - I was talking to my friend, Maxine, (her guardian is Rev. Melody), and Max was getting her growl on so I suggested that she stop, bark to 10, and take 5 with a Greenie.

And that's when I got to thinking that if the entire planet took time out to simultaneously chew on a Greenie, there'd be no time for war!
